How Do I Promote a Financial Business with Limited Budget?

Totally get where you’re coming from—promoting a financial business with a small budget can be tough, but it’s definitely doable if you’re smart about where and how you spend.
Here are a few tips that worked for me when I was just starting out:- Focus on content that builds trust. In finance, people need to feel safe before they buy or sign up. Even a simple blog, some useful guides, or short videos answering common questions can help a lot. Post them on your site and share them on social platforms.
- Use organic social and groups. Facebook groups, Reddit, and Quora can be goldmines if you actually contribute helpful info and casually mention your service when it fits. Don’t go straight for the pitch—be part of the convo.
- Try low-cost PPC platforms. Google Ads is great but can be super expensive for finance. I’ve personally tested a platform called 7Search PPC—it’s smaller, but that’s kind of why it worked for me. The traffic is more affordable, and they allow finance-related ads, which some platforms restrict. You can start small, target finance-related keywords, and slowly scale.
- Retargeting is your friend. If you get traffic (even a little), use retargeting ads to keep your brand in front of visitors. Sometimes people don’t act the first time but come back later.
- Offer value upfront. A free download, a quick consultation, or even a checklist can help build a relationship and start trust-building without being salesy.
