I’m in the market for a high-performance laptop for engineering work and would love some recommendations. I’ll be using it for CAD, simulations, and programming, so I need something with a powerful processor (Intel i7/i9 or Ryzen 7/9), at least 16GB RAM (preferably 32GB), and a dedicated GPU (RTX or equivalent). Battery life and portability are also important since I’ll be using it in class and on the go.
My budget is around $2,500 for engineering laptops, but I’m open to slightly higher if it’s worth it. I’ve looked at Dell XPS, Lenovo ThinkPad P series, and ASUS ROG models, but I’d love to hear real-world experiences.
