Here's a general Instruction of how to use Opnsense VPN:
Install Opnsense: Download the software Opnsense and deploy it on your selected hardware either hardware or virtual.
Initial Configuration: Set up the common networks such as IPs, DNS, and gateway.
Create a VPN Interface: Click on the Services section and then select VPN and Needed VPN type (need to select OpenVPN, WireGuard, IPsec, and so on). First, you should try creating a new interface and arrange its settings.
OpenVPN: Quite elastic and is the most supported. This is sensitive to the configuration of certificates and keys and the underlying network infrastructure.
WireGuard: Fast and modern with a less complicated structure.
It is very secure and has acceptable performance.
