What is non vbv bins?
Non VBV bins are a category of Bank Identification Numbers (BINs) that do not participate in the Verified by Visa (VBV) authentication process. These BINs are assigned to various issuing banks and are used to identify the financial institution that issued a particular credit or debit card. Unlike VBV bins, which require an additional layer of authentication during online transactions, non-VBV bins are employed in transactions that do not necessitate this extra verification step.

Cards that skip the VBV prompt:
These cards are issued by banks that have 3DS but have configured certain bins to skip the extra authentication step. This could be for high value customers who prefer convenience or as part of a risk based authentication where lower risk transactions are allowed to proceed without 3DS verification.
These are issued by banks that haven’t implemented 3DS at all. While getting rare, some smaller banks or financial institutions in certain regions may still not have 3DS for cost reasons or other factors.
